GRP garagae doors are available in either a high gloss white smooth finish or woodgrain timber effect. The woodgrain finishes offer the appearance of traditional timber without the obvious maintenance issues. Roller Image

Up and over: (canopy & retractable)

As you are having a new door we would always recommend replacing the existing frame. A low maintenance pre-finished steel frame offers the best solution for most installations.

Up and over doors (canopy and retractable) can be fitted between or behind the brickwork aperture. If the door is to be fitted between the brickwork, measure clear width (5) and height (4).

If the door is to be fitted behind the brickwork, we would also need the side room and headroom clearances (1,2,3)

If your existing timber frame is to be used, measure the exact sizes between the 2 side frames and the height from under the head frame to the finished floor. We would also need to know the actual size of the timber frame.

Sectional

Sectional doors come with their own steel frame which means that any existing framework is not required for the installation.

Sectional door are ideally mounted on the inside of the brickwork which allows the mechanism to be fitted behind the brick peers and lintel. If this is the case we require the clear opening width (5) and height (4) as well as the side room and headroom clearances (1,2,3)

If you require you sectional door to be fitted between the brickwork we only require the clear opening width (5) and height (4).

Side Hinged

As you are having a new side hinged door we would always recommend replacing the existing frame as not only is the original likely to show signs of deterioration but it is unlikely that the hinge positions on the new door will be the same. A low maintenance pre-finished steel frame offers the best solution for some installations or alternatively a new timber frame offers a more traditional look.

Side hinged doors are normally fitted between the brickwork, if this is the case we only require the clear width (5) and height (4). If however you wish to have the door fitted on the inside of the brickwork, we would also need the side room and headroom clearances (1,2,3)
