Era Passage Door Knob Set P.Brass 170-31
We have all been there at some point. You are trying to move from one room to another with your hands full of laundry, a tray of tea, or perhaps just trying to navigate the house while the kids are running around. There is nothing more frustrating than having to fumble with a fiddly door handle or a lock that keeps catching when you just want a smooth, easy transition between your living spaces. That is exactly why we recommend the Era Passage Door Knob Set P.Brass 170-31 for your home or office. It is designed to make your daily life just a little bit simpler by providing a reliable and elegant way to open your internal doors without the need for keys or locks.
When you choose this particular set from Doorfit, you are investing in a piece of hardware that balances classic aesthetics with modern functionality. The polished brass finish catches the light beautifully, adding a touch of warmth and traditional charm to any interior design scheme. Whether you are renovating a period property or simply looking to refresh the look of your modern apartment, this knob set offers a timeless appeal that never goes out of fashion. It feels substantial in the hand, giving you that reassuring quality that you expect from a premium door fitting.
Why choose a passage knob set for your home
The beauty of a passage set lies in its simplicity. Many rooms in a home, such as your living room, kitchen, or dining area, do not require the security of a lock. In these busy spaces, you want a door that stays closed when you want it to but opens effortlessly whenever you need to pass through. This is where the Era passage door knob set truly shines. By removing the complexity of locking mechanisms, you ensure that your doors remain accessible to everyone, including guests and children, without any risk of accidental lockouts.
Furthermore, because these knobs are non-locking, they are the perfect choice for hallways and communal areas where you want to maintain an open and welcoming atmosphere. They provide a cohesive look throughout your property. When you replace your old, tired handles with these polished brass knobs, you will notice an immediate difference in the overall feel of your home. It is a small change that makes a significant impact on the daily flow of your household.
Designed for your convenience and ease
We understand that not everyone is a professional carpenter, and that is perfectly fine. The team at Doorfit wants to ensure that your experience from purchase to installation is as stress-free as possible. This set has been engineered with the DIY enthusiast in mind. Each pack arrives with comprehensive fitting instructions and a handy template to guide you through the process. You will not need to spend hours guessing where to drill or how to align the components because everything has been thought out to save you time and effort.
- The adjustable tubular latch allows you to set the mechanism to either 60mm or 70mm to suit the specific requirements of your door.
- The polished brass finish is hard-wearing and designed to maintain its lustrous appearance with only a simple wipe from a soft cloth.
- The non-locking nature of this hardware makes it ideal for rooms where privacy is not a priority but ease of movement is essential.
- This set is suitable for a wide range of door thicknesses, making it a versatile choice for most standard internal doors found in British homes.
- Everything you need to get the job done is included in the box, so you can start your home improvement project as soon as your delivery arrives.
- The smooth turning action of the knob ensures that the door latch retracts fully every time you use it, preventing any annoying sticking.
Versatility for both home and workplace
While these knobs are a fantastic addition to a domestic setting, they are also robust enough for light commercial use. If you are looking to update the doors in a small office, a boutique, or a community centre, the Era Passage Door Knob Set P.Brass 170-31 stands up to the task remarkably well. Its durable construction means it can handle the higher frequency of use that comes with a busy office environment while still looking professional and polished.
In a commercial setting, accessibility is often key. You want clients and staff to be able to move freely between offices or meeting rooms without the hassle of keys. By installing this passage set, you create an environment that feels open and accessible. The gold-toned finish also adds a sense of professionalism and attention to detail that clients will surely notice when they visit your premises.
