Description
Exidor 325 Outside Access Device Silver Euro Cylinder
Exidor easy and convenient lever outside access device for use with 200 series and 300 series hardware, for gaining entry through an escape door.
Application uses
- The Exidor 325 with lever allows for the provision of secure access into a building from the outside without compromising the functionality of the escape hardware
- Suitable for use with the Exidor 200 & 300 series bolts and latches.
- The Exidor 325 offers access from the outside of the door
All the Exidor 200/300 series Outside Access Devices have been certified for use with the Exidor 200/300 range of bolts and latches. The use of any other OAD will invalidate the CE marking on these products.
Operation
- When unlocked the lever, spindle and mechanism engage allowing the shoots of the panic bolt or the bolt in the panic latch to be withdrawn from the outside
- The lever remains engaged until the mechanism is re-locked
- When the door is locked, the handle is fixed in the horizontal position - preventing access from outside the building
- Locking the cylinder prevents access into the building but will not prevent escape from the building.
Features
- Lever is attached to the body by a shear pin. In the event of severe abuse, the shear pin will break protecting the mechanism. The shear pin can then be replaced
- Lever design is simple and easy to open with hand, fist, elbow
- The lever dimensions help to meet the requirements for BS 8300 for a more inclusive building design
- Non-handed
- Fire rated for use on timber and steel doors
- Surface mounted on the outside of the door using concealed machine screws
- Bolt through fixings make it suitable for steel or timber doors up to 65mm thick
- Supplied with euro cylinder & 3 keys

Fixing / Installation
Installation instructions are supplied with all the Exidor panic and emergency exit hardware. Provided the instructions are followed and the units are fitted by a competent person, the Exidor range will offer a high degree of safety and security
