Description
Our sprung Avon lever handles are From The Anvils signature design and are loved for their timeless simplicity. Each lever is individually forged in steel on an anvil, hand-hammered into shape by our expert Blacksmiths to give it a contemporary, yet individual edge, that looks great on any type of house, old or new.
A ‘Slim’ espagnolette version of the stylish Avon handle, which is designed with an extra long backplate to be used with all multi point locks.
The slimline handle is not ‘handed’ so can be used either side of your door and is bolt fixed from one side only for added security. This handle has a strong spring incorporated into the handle which will always return it back to 90 degrees.
Stylish extruding boss design to give both functionality & elegance.

Finish
Finished in External Beeswax
Our external beeswax is unique to From The Anvil and is manufactured from a anti-corrosive beeswax.
It has a matt richness and similarly to our standard beeswax the depth of colour ranges from blue to deep red ochre.
This finish has been salt tested to 480hours, which meets grade 5 British Standard.
Our External Beeswax finish aesthetically is the same as Beeswax; A traditional finish with a soft, natural look featuring subtle blue and deep red ochre tones which are preserved in the steel during the manufacturing process. This finish is ideally suited to older, traditional dwellings and cottage interiors.
Our External Beeswax products are hand forged from mild steel. After forging, the subtle colours in the metal are preserved by dipping the products in hot, anti-corrosive beeswax unique to From The Anvil. This results in a soft, matte richness and offers excellent protection when the products are fitted both internally and externally.
Maintenance
Due to temperature changes or packaging, a Beeswax product may occasionally show signs of a white bloom upon opening. This can be buffed with a soft cloth to remove.
Although this finish already offers a very strong barrier against environmental conditions, we recommend re-applying a small amount of Maintenance Wax periodically with a cloth or brush which provides additional protection to the surface of your product and further protects this from any harmful external elements.
To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your products, we recommend regular oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ . This process is also highly recommended during initial installation.
