An attractive Beehive knob with an ebonised finish made from Rosewood timber.

Each set comes complete with detachable roses in a stylish aged brass and matching fixing screws.

Our Beehive knobs come unsprung and would therefore need to be used with a heavy duty lock/latch mechanism.

For best results the centre of the knob should be a minimum of 3" from the edge of the door.

Heavy Duty latches of 4" or 5" are recommended for maximum efficiency.

Finish

• Finished in Ebonised Rosewood with Aged Brass roses

• Ebonised rosewood is favoured for its rich dark tones, this finish is a popular choice in traditional properties and often used to complement rim locks or to create a statement on internal doors. When paired with brass it accentuates the traditional look and when used with nickel or chrome it creates a more contemporary feel. Polish or wax to maintain the wood and to give overall protection. This finish can be used externally if maintained with anvil maintenance wax & wiped with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time. This will also aid the removal of harmful deposits.

• Aged brass products are made from solid unlacquered brass which undergoes an accelerated ageing process and is then re-polished, leaving any decorative details dark and larger surface areas more polished. If the intention is to allow the surface to age, no attention needs to be given. Over time the brass will acquire a darker and more aged patina. However polishing with brasso will give the product a natural sheen where required.
• This finish has been salt tested to 480hours, which meets grade 5 British Standard.
