Fullex SL16 35mm Replacement Gearbox
The SL16 Multipoint has gained an enviable reputation in all markets for strength and reliability in many years of successful service. This replacement gearbox is ideal to save costs of replacing the entire mechanism when the centre case eventually fails.
For maximum security this multipoint door lock can be fitted with the Ultion 3 star TS007 diamond cylinder

Operation
Locking
- On closing the door, the latch is automatically engaged
- Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
- Lock the locking points and main deadbolt (if present) by turning the key.
Unlocking
- Unlock the system by turning the key.
- Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
To enable the split spindle function the pin that surrounds the spindle hole must be broken by lifting the outside handle up at the same time as pushing the inside handle down. A noise will be heard which confirms the action, and with the spindles correctly set the latch will now only operate using the external key and by operating the internal handle.
Fitting
SL16 gearboxes come with fixing tabs at the top and the bottom of the gearbox. These measure 15mm wide by 9mm deep. The lugs are 11mm wide. The case attaches to the faceplate with screws at the top and bottom which measure 206mm apart.
