The Union range of Fire Door Kits are a reliable, convenient and attractive solution for installing and protecting timber & metal fire doors. Supplied with some of the highest quality fire rated parts available, they are CE marked and Certifire approved for reliable fire door security.

Application uses

• Designed for doors that need to be locked for most of the time, this kit contains a HD72 deadlock (deadbolt only) and associated hardware
• Typical applications include maintenance access doors or storage cupboards where normal opening/closing is by turning the cylinder key
• The Kit is ideal for use on timber fire doors, either FD30 or FD60

Specification

• The Kit can be installed on doors up to 950mm wide and 60kg in weight
• Hinges have 2 ball bearing races for improved durability and template fixing screw holes, ideal for timber doors
• The Grade 13 hinges are intended for use on doors up to 120kg
• The CE3F Rack & Pinion closer is fully tested as an EN 3 closer in regular, transom and parallel arm installation
• CE3F closer has a max opening angle of 130°
• The cast body design includes adjustable closing speed and latch control valves so each door can be set up to suit its location
• HD72DL is a DIN style dead lock with 60mm backset which assist in fulfilling requirements of BS 8300
• Steel 20mm single throw deadbolt for ease of operation
• Lockcase is prepared for bolt through furniture to ensure ironmongery stays on the door
• HD72 range achieves Category of use 3 grading in BS EN 12209 making it ideal for high frequency use by the public or others with little incentive to exercise care
• Square corners on hinges, lock faceplate and keep makes door prep easy with chisel and hammer
• Hinges, dead lock and cylinder have completed 200k cycle durability testing to give re-assurance on longevity
• 1000 Series pull handle has bolt through fixings for secure installation
• The 19mm diameter handle is a simple D shape without roses for a streamlined appearance
• The push plate is easy to screw to door to mask the handle fixings with 4 screws in the radiused corners
• The 35-35 euro profile patented key-turn cylinder (70mm in overall length) uses 6 pins for additional security performance.
• The closer has completed 500k cycle durability
• Signage reminds users to keep the door locked to ensure the fire door can perform as expected if needed
