Blue60 Fire Rated Foam
Blue60 is a specially formulated expanding foam that when used in conjunction with Blue60 fire rated packers gives up to 60 minutes fire protection to timber doorsets without the use of additional mastics or sealants.
The most-tested foam on the market, Blue60 forms an efficient seal against smoke and gas, helping you create a building that’s safe, secure and up to standard.
Key Features
- 30 & 60 minute fire tested to BS EN 1634-1 & BS476-22
- Tested in full size single and double door sets, not linear gaps
- No additional mastics or sealants are required
- Accoustically tested in full door set to 43dB
- Tested in masonry, timber and steel stud partitionings
- Tested with softwood, MDF & hardwood frame sections
- Now tested with gaps 3 : 30mm and gaps 0:30mm in conjunctionwith Orange240
- Tested in a retro fit scanario to allow for rectification use
- Blue in colour for identification purposes
- Blue60 foam MUST be used in conjunction Blue60 packers
- Packers available in 1, 3 & 5mm thickness and colour coded for ease of use and identification
Easy To Identify
Thanks to its bright blue colour, Blue60 is easy to identify. It is also very easy to install and very efficient since one 750ml can is enough to seal up to four standard single fire doors.
Accoustic Insulation
As well as protecting against gas and smoke, Blue60 provides a high level of acoustic insulation. The foam has sound reduction capabilities of up to 43 dB Rw, helping you make your property quieter and calmer as well as more secure.
