The Union range of Fire Door Kits are a reliable, convenient and attractive solution for installing and protecting timber & metal fire doors. Supplied with some of the highest quality fire rated parts available, they are CE marked and Certifire approved for reliable fire door security.

Application uses

• Designed for passage doors that need to be locked for some time, this kit contains a HD72 sashlock (latch and deadbolt) and associated hardware
• Typical applications include meeting rooms, office doors and classroom doors where normal opening/closing is by handle but sometimes the door needs to be securely locked by turning the cylinder key
• The Kit is ideal for use on timber fire doors, either FD30 or FD60

Specification

• The Kit can be installed on doors up to 950mm wide and 60kg in weight
• Hinges have 2 ball bearing races for improved durability and template fixing screw holes, ideal for timber doors
• The Grade 13 hinges are intended for use on doors up to 120kg
• The CE3F Rack & Pinion closer is fully tested as an EN 3 closer in regular, transom and parallel arm installation
• CE3F closer has a max opening angle of 130°
• The cast body design includes adjustable closing speed and latch control valves so each door can be set up to suit its location
• HD72SL is a DIN style sash lock with 72mm centres and 60mm backset which assist in fulfilling requirements of BS 8300
• The steel latch assembly has completed over 3.5m cycles for complete peace of mind in the lock's durability
• Steel 20mm single throw deadbolt for ease of operation
• Quick reversible latch allows easy on-site handing
• Lockcase is prepared for bolt through furniture to ensure ironmongery stay on the door
• HD72 range achieves Category of use 3 grading in BS EN 12209 making it ideal for high frequency use by the public or others with little incentive to exercise care
• Square corners on hinges, lock faceplate and keep makes door preparation easy with chisel and hammer
• Hinges, sash lock, cylinder and handle have completed 200k cycle durability testing to give re-assurance on longevity
• 1000RRS01 lever handle has a sprung rose with 8mm projection
• The return to door 19mm diameter handle shape helps meet requirements of BS 8300 giving barrier free access
• The 2 levers are installed with concealed bolt through fixings for neat and secure finish
• The 35-35 euro profile key-turn patented cylinder (70mm in overall length) uses 6 pins for additional security performance.

• HD72 lock faceplate and keep are manufactured from 304 satin stainless steel.

• J-U6P cylinder is satin nickel plated.
